What information we collect

When you interact with us and our M2M Factory services, including via a connected M2M Factory product ("Product"), M2M Factory will collect information about you in accordance with this Privacy Policy, including "personal information" and "non-personal information."

"Personal Information" means information about you that specifically identifies you or, when combined with other information available to us, can be used to identify you, such as name, date of birth, physical address, phone number, e-mail address and videos containing personal information. Visual identity information.

M2M Factory collects personal information about you through the M2M Factory Services in several ways.

When you register for M2M Factory Services and activate Products: You voluntarily provide us with personal information when you create your account to use M2M Factory Services or register a Product for online video access and viewing. In addition, when you install and activate Products, you will be asked to provide certain basic information via our M2M Factory Services, such as your Product name, verification code and Product serial number, which are unique to the Product connected to M2M Factory Services and associated with your account, if any.

When you have recorded video content on M2M Factory services: When you record content via M2M Factory services, such as video clips, live video streams and images ("Your Content"), we will collect personal information that will enable you to record your Content.

When you contact us for assistance: when you reply to our e-mails, contact our customer service or use other customer support tools, we collect your information to provide you with assistance, verify your identity with your account profile information and confirm your Product.

 

M2M Factory also collects non-personal information via M2M Factory services in several ways.

When you use M2M Factory services to help us understand how you use the service, improve M2M Factory services and support: we often collect industry-standard non-personal information when you access our M2M Factory services. We collect this type of information to provide you with a more relevant experience, to prevent misuse and to ensure that our M2M Factory services are working properly. We may also record adjustments you make to our Products via M2M Factory Services. We store this information together with the data collected directly by your product. If you have any questions about your mobile device's security and privacy settings, please refer to your mobile service provider's or device manufacturer's instructions on how to adjust your settings.

We also use cookies, web beacons, invisible pixels and other technologies to keep records, store your preferences, improve our advertising and collect certain non-personal information, such as log data and device data. In particular, we use cookies that enable us to connect your M2M Factory Services activity with other information we store about you in your profile or related to your interactions with M2M Factory Services. This enables us to better understand how you use our M2M Factory services and products, and to diagnose and resolve any problems you encounter.

The use of cookies also helps you to navigate smoothly through our M2M Factory services.

We believe you benefit from a more personalized experience when we know more about you and your preferences. However, you can limit the information you provide to M2M Factory and the communications you receive from M2M Factory through your account preferences.

We currently do not modify our data collection and usage practices in response to Do Not Track signals.

Please consult the instructions provided by your mobile service provider or device manufacturer to find out how to adjust your settings.

 

How we use your information

In order to provide a better user experience, we, or our suppliers on our behalf, use the information collected as described in this Privacy Policy to:

  • Operate, maintain, improve and develop M2M Factory products and services;
  • Enhance the security of our M2M Factory services and products - for example, for user authentication, security protection, fraud detection, filing and backups;
  • Carry out audits, analyses and customer research;
  • To send you e-mails, SMS (including commercial messages) and Push to promote M2M Factory services and products, and to send you important notices, such as reminders, technical notices, updates, alerts, support and administrative messages, service bulletins and requested information.   • If M2M Factory and/or all or part of our assets are sold or transferred, your personal information may be one of the items sold or transferred.

  • better understand how our customers interact with our M2M Factory products and services, in order to optimize your experience, improve our products or provide better services;

Securing your personal information

M2M Factory has implemented commercially reasonable administrative, technical and physical security controls designed to protect personal information. We also conduct periodic reviews and evaluations of the effectiveness of our security controls. Notwithstanding the foregoing, no method of transmission over the Internet, nor any method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, please understand that although M2M Factory has made every effort to protect your personal information, M2M Factory cannot guarantee that your personal information is completely secure with existing security technology. If your personal information is disclosed or stolen due to force majeure or security controls that cannot be attributed to M2M Factory, you agree that M2M Factory shall not be liable for your loss. Accessing and correcting your personal information

Updating your personal information ensures that we provide you with the most relevant offers. You can access and update your personal information via your account profile. While we are happy to help you manage your subscriptions, deactivate your account and delete your active profile and data, we cannot always delete records of past interactions and transactions. In addition, due to the way we maintain certain services, after deleting certain information, we may temporarily retain backup copies of that information before it is permanently deleted.

We will retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide services to you and to keep a record of your transactions for financial reporting purposes. Confidentiality - minors

M2M Factory does not intend that any part of its M2M Factory Services be accessed or used by children under the age of 18 or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction, and such use is prohibited. If we become aware that an account is associated with a registered user under the age of 18 or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction, we will promptly delete the information associated with that account. If you are the parent or guardian of a child under the age of 18, or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction, and you believe that he or she has disclosed personal information to us, please contact us by telephone or e-mail using the M2M Factory contact information for your country. A parent or guardian of a child under the age of 18, or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction, may review and request deletion of that child's personal information and prohibit its use.
